We rode into Wichita and stopped into a image shop to get some photo's put on CD's. While we were in there the radio had a public service announcement saying that there was a tornado heading through the area. We did the most reasonable thing.... jumped on our bikes and headed to a street with all the churches on it.
We went into a bunch of church's (including the church of scientology....Tom Cruise was behind the front desk....he just kept screaming at us "show me the money"...."Tom, we don't have any money!". Anyways, we finally went into a United Methodist Church and a nice woman named Becky said we could sleep in the basement of the Church, where the Youth Center was....SWEEET!
We went and grabbed some dinner at a local pizza place (whats up Sabrina!) and the owner of the photo shop was there as well and he picked up our check...thanks Rick! Outside the weather was horrible....lightning, thunder, 70 mph winds and rain drops the size of grapes.....we didn't feel any of that cuz we were in the Methodist Youth Center; playing pool, drums (finallllly!!!!!, dam felt sooo good) and watching Monty Pythons Holy Grail ....Kansas is looking up
